Enforcer Patrolman are your bog-standard PIGS space cops from the Palanite Enforcers of Necromunda.
Overview
These are your standard dudes in blue who has been sufficiently well trained in the art of skull stomper. They are tasked by their seniors to do a number of operations regarding law enforcement and protecting the interests of House Helmawr. They are by far the most common troop of police within Necromunda and are there to beat things into submission if the Underhive gets too rowdy.
Due to their profession, Patrolmen wear Flak Armour and are armed with a variety of tools to help with their job. This includes Stub Guns, Imperial Boltguns, Combat Shotguns, Sniper Rifles and a Shock Baton, alongside a selection of Smoke Grenades, Blind Grenades, and Shock Grenades.
Crunch
On Necromunda, Patrolman are a flexible and balance unit and all-purpose weapon carriers. Their Basic/Special weapon options are uniformly excellent, so despite their high cost and mediocre stats of 5+ save, 4+ against blasts, they can hold their own as the basis for a shooting-oriented gang. After all, Armoured Undersuits being included may not be what you’d choose at Gang Creation, but it’s decent in the long run. Don't bother with Hardened Armor though. The challenge their cost gives you is fitting in enough bodies at the start of the campaign to keep up your activations and avoid a death spiral if you have a few fighters in Recovery at once.
All in all, while other gangs tend to rely on their Champions to do the heavy lifting while regular Gangers run around pinning people down, serving as meatshields or fetching things, Enforcers' troops should be equipped to be effective damage dealers... which is usually done by spamming Sniper Rifles. Their range allows you to Aim before shooting, compensating a mediocre BS of 4+, and they are 15 points cheaper than a Bolter. Though make no mistake, the latter is absolutely lethal. It hits on 3+ up close, and with S4 AP-1 D2 Rapid Fire it's not unusual to make two enemy gangers roll their Injurie dices with one attack. If you're playing in tunnels and such, one or two Enforcer Shotguns are a good pick: while expensive, they don't rely on BS to hit.
