Hel is an immortal of Death in the D&D setting of Mystara. She likes to reincarnate evil souls so they can do more evil. She created the Beastmen race 5,000 years ago. Her and Thanatos, the other Death-obsessed immortal, are not allies, but they have a begrudging respect for one another and generally stay out of each other's affairs.
