Valerias is the Immortal of Love and Passion in the D&D setting of Mystara.
History[edit]
She is one of the oldest Immortals. For a while she was disinterested in mortals. Then when humans appeared she became fascinated them and their courting rituals, and so decided to become the patron of romance. She is especially fond of tragic Romeo and Juliet style scenarios. She spends most of her time making random people fall in love with each other. She became known as the "Girder-on of Weapons" for bringing weapons and armor to lovers facing death together.
Personality[edit]
Being the goddess of sensual, passionate love, Valerias sleeps around a lot. But her chief lover is Ixion, the immortal of the sun. Like him, she is passionate and quick-tempered. She is much more likely to help mortals if said mortal is handsome/beautiful. But she's also fickle and may leave you to go watch someone else if she gets bored.
Appearance[edit]
Valerias appears as a beautiful woman of whatever race she is speaking to. She will be wearing the most expensive clothes and jewels of the viewer's culture. She always wears golden earrings with imprints of the rising sun, a present from Ixion.
