About this template[edit]

This infobox (information box) is intended to provide, at a glance, snapshots of articles about military campaigns. It may be included in all articles about military campaigns that are initiated by any faction within the Warhammer 40,000 universe. It is suggested that the template be inserted at the top, before any article-body text. Please read all the following instructions before using.

Usage[edit]

Copy and paste the following template into the article and fill in the fields. DO NOT change the field names including their grammar or case.

{{Infobox 40k Campaign
|title=
|image=
|attacker=
|defender=
|commander1=
|commander2=
|date=
|scale=
|theatre=
|strength1=
|strength2=
|casualties1=
|casualties2=
|status=
|outcome=
}}

By default, the infobox will appear on the far right of the page, at the position it was placed.

Fill-in instructions[edit]

The template includes default, required, and optional fields.

Required fields must have a value (must be filled-in) or they may appear blank. These fields will appear even if removed.

Optional fields will not appear if they don't have a value or if they are removed.

To remove a field, after pasting the template into an article, delete the field's entire line.

When you enter values in fields, any leading (blank) spaces are ignored.

You are encouraged to wikilink any information you add, but only to already-existing pages in this wiki.

For the infobox to give a complete snapshot of the page, it is suggested you fill in all, or as many of the fields as you can.

title (default)[edit]

  • Other info: The infobox title appears as white text on black background
