Those bubbles weren’t caused by Billy. These monster are sneaky ones, though we tend not to engage the smaller ones and mana travels much slower in water. It’s only until they’ve eaten the whole damn lake, that they start to become a concern. We rarely use water travel, to avoid the nasty things that would swallow us up. Boats have to keep going back and forth. So we depend on the bridges that are left, stationing Hunters on them at all times. If you live in a coastal settlement, simply avoid deep waters. The shallow waters are easier to manage, though no less dangerous. Avoid colorful fish, and ones with spines. Usually poisonous or pretending to be and I don’t think you want to try and figure it out which. Fish the ones that are smaller, and not full adults yet. Be swift and watch the ripples in the water. If you see the seas parting towards you, get out. If one is menacing your settlement, use arrows and cannons. Do not use a boat, you’ll only be capsized and you may ruin your perfectly good Hunter’s outfit.
