Background[edit]
Rowan was an avid traveler and scholar back before he exalted. In his travels, he witness quite a number of tragedies generally caused by corrupt figures of authority. These experiences caused him to grow rather jaded. Seeing both the potential for exaltation and the growing sense of disillusionment that resonated with Cecelyne's own personality, a Gilmyne out in the field began to follow him, watching and waiting for the right moment...
That moment finally came a month later, when Rowan's frustrations with what he had witnessed in his journeys hit their peak. The Gilmyne did not need to wait for him to fail at some task, as at that moment his beliefs began to resonate with Cecelyne's own. The Gilmyne came forward and made its offer plainly and simply and Rowan accepted without hesitation.
Once in Malfeas, Rowan began to study and train. In those studies he concluded that for the Yozis to be safe to release, they must first be restored and/or renewed from their current broken states and has set himself towards finding some way to do just that (when his duties as an Infernal Exalt do not require him elsewhere).
Rowan is still quite new and Cecelyne has not invested much in the way of equipment or backing in him yet, both because he is still unproven and because it is in her nature to make her servants fight to obtain their own resources.
Rowan believes in meritocracy, and that while those with the power to do so should rise to the top, anyone who has the ambition should be capable of pursuing such. This is less harsh than the typical servant of Cecelyne, but it is also a great deal more appealing and alluring. He dislikes the Ebon Dragon on general principle as he feels the Dragon's philosophy is ultimately incompatible with his: He'd seek to prevent anyone else from ever being capable of following through with their ambitions.
Appearance[edit]
Rowan is of average appearance, although he seems to almost glow with general force of personality (in a rather literal sense, his coadjutor is a Gilmyne and lends him something of an inner fire, though nothing that couldn't be explained away as merely a trick of the eye). He stands 6 feet tall and is of average weight for his height. He has brown hair and eyes. He dresses in a simple but practical silk armor worn over durable clothes made for traveling in harsh conditions (one for cold and one for warm climates) and carries a walking staff, though he never uses it in combat.

- Sand-strike Blast 3m (1m in areas of desolation/3m+1 wp if striking a material foe while dematerialized), Simple (Speed 4, Dv -0), Instant. Range is (Essence x 50) yards, Attack roll is (Charisma + Occult), damage is (Essence + Cult + Attack successes)L Piercing. Opponent also loses 1 wp (shaping effect). Cannot be blocked without charm or stunt.
SWLiHN Charms:
- Factual Determination Analysis: 2m, Reflexive, Instant. Determines if a given statement is true or not. omission counts as lie, truth is taken as per the target's perception (returns true if they believe it to be true). When contested by another charm, add (Essence) successes to the roll-off.
