An absolutely badass-looking Daemon first revealed in 2023. The Infernus Abomination are badasses that is basically Chaos' answer to Officio Assassinorum. Yes. You heard that right. Daemonic assassins. And they look like a Chaos-ified Bane. Can't get more badass than that.
Overview[edit]
The Infernus Abomination was used by the Traitor Legions during the Horus Heresy. What happened to them, we have no idea, and why the CSM of today no longer seem to use them despite their awesomness, we have even less idea.
Infernus Abomination should be noted that they have the ability to change forms, so The Changeling isn't the only unique one in town. The true form of these shapeshifting creatures is known to few, with most instead perceiving a roiling darkness. As they pursue their prey, the Wraithskin Suits override their neural impulses and warp their body, pushing them beyond human limits to become the perfect killer. So yes, these Daemons seem to be one of the only Chaos Daemons that actually uses advanced equipment, or whatever the hell the term 'advanced' would mean in the context of the Warp.
Whatever is the case, this constant flux allows them to morph weaponry known as Transmutative Armaments, which, like Fleshmetal Guns, are able to take various sub-forms such as the deadly Hammerblades, Spinelashes, and Talon-Rakes.
