Notes and other information:
Salvador was wandering the deserts of the Western US territories after the shooting death of his wolf mother. He was adopted by a pack of lawless werewolves, largely homid and metis, who introduced him to the pleasures of the civilized world and the ease of taking any of it they wanted.
Short Will Branston, the leader of the gang, named him Salvador after a dead friend he resembled. he helped them rustle cattle, and learned English, Spanish, and how to drink and gamble. Despite being a light-skinned black man, some appropriate facial hair and the right accent convinced most people he was Mexican, a step up the social ladder in the West. His real identity was realized by a wandering Strider named Eats-the-Road, who taught him some of the ways of his tribe and encouraged his role as a Theurge. Unfortunately, he bit off more than he could chew one day and found himself stuck in the Umbra until modern day. All his old friends are dead, the world is bigger than ever and his wandering has begun in earnest.
