Campaign:SUPER ROBOT WARS Ω/Earth

With a population about as large as that of all other nations put together and an industry to match, the Earth Federation is the de facto superpower of the Solar System, and capital of its political and economic life, but especially of its agriculture, since at the present only Earth produces a surplus of foodstuffs (that exports throughout the system).

The Federation (capital in Geneve) is notorious for its lack of internal unity, being split in six factions: Neo Japan, East Asian Directorate, European Confederation, United States of North America, PDNSA (Pacto de Naciones Suramericanas) and African Alliance, jousting endlessly for power and political leverage.

Each faction has its own military, with a double chain of command tying it to both the federal and the national governments: Respectively, the Far East (japan), East (asia), Central (europe), Northwest (north america), Southwest (south america) and South (africa) brigades, in charge of the defense of Earth space. Despite the lack of unity and coordination, it boasts an impressive strength both in numbers and in technology.

Many privately-owned companies and enterprises also have their own armed forces, with the authorization of the federal government.
