Combat outside the facility

All units deployed via drop to target facility. Crusader unit took and held outer post according to orders; disarmed and destroyed enemy Eva and the K-38 in short order. Units 312-316 moved in on main facility. Unit 316 advanced on the hanger bay, while all remaining units entered via the blast doors. One enemy Eva was inside the hanger, another just inside the blast doors. Both were engaged.

At the far end of the facility, a new combatant tore down a door and engaged Unit 313. Self-identified (via neutralization) as "Abaddon." Lt. Carter panicked. Unit 315 engaged the target and removed its leg. At this point Unit 313 berzerked and attacked. It broke its jaw restraints and bit the enemy, dealing massive damage. Unit 314 shot into the combat and also dealt damage. Despite its lack of core, the creature was defeated. Note that while several enemy units were still operational, Unit 315 spent several minutes rooting around in Abaddon's corpse searching for the plug, which he did recover; disregarded direct orders to leave the plug alone and rejoin the combat although he did eventually comply.

Combat inside the facility

Units 311, 316, and 312 defeated the enemy Evas and did not see the creature, although they did see Unit 313 berzerk.

All units were recovered, and intel/salvage teams dispatched to the site.

Recommend to Crusader squadron commander that the squadron to be commended for excellent work on the conventional part of the combat.
3rd Lt. Higgans to be commended for keeping the pilot of the enemy Eva alive despite Unit 313's berzerk status.
3rd Lt. Albright to be reprimanded for disregarding direct orders during the combat. [David, deal with this. -Madison]
3rd Lt. Carter to be put on limited/light duty for two weeks.

[Those technical squadrons were surprisingly effective, as were the Powells. Conventional E-scale weaponry is not bad at all. -Madison]

Damage report:
Unit 311 and 312 suffered minor damage.

Enemy Analysis:
"Abaddon" looked, talked, and acted like an Angel; specifically, it resembled Sachiel, down to his arm spike attack, but with Eva restraint systems. However, it lacked a Core, had a Red AT Pattern, and had a pilot. It had an AT strength high above that which is safe for Eva and human pilot, yet low for an Angel. Unit 313's pilot specifically reported hearing two voices: the pilot and the voice that identified as Abaddon. No mention of Abaddon is in the specific apocrypha texts used during the Angelic War, although, like the Angels, the name does appear in various other apocrypha. I don't know what this is, but it's not fully Eva or Angel.
