Dodge[edit]

  • Dodge Shadow over Water(Dodge 3, Essence 1, pg) 1m, Reflexive(step2), Combo-OK, Instant.
    • The chosen moves like shadows over water, with perfect grace and speed. This charm is used in response to an attack. It allows the Exalt to ignore all penalties that apply to her Dodge DV when resolving that attack. Her dodge DV is still 0 against an undodgable attack, but takes no further penalty

    • This charm lets the character automatically succeed on any attempt to keep their balance. In addition, it lets them to keep their footing on a surface as strong and wide as a human hair. The Exalt treats the given surface as a three foot wide ledge capable of supporting a thousand pounds of weight when determining what movement and athletic actions can be taken

    • Ritual of Elemental Empowerment (30+m) Inanimate object
      • Imbues an item with the essence of one of the five elements, sorcerer begins at dawn, purifying the object with incense and salt water, chanting the sutras of the appropriate elemental dragon, then striking the item five times and saying the words of elemental binding at noon attunes the item to that element, giving it the effect of one of the following benedictions
        • Air:Gives lightness or coldness Lightness: 1/5th weight, regardless of type; Weapons: -1 speed; Armor; -1 mobility/fatigue penalties; Coldness: Spend one mote or wp to give the following effect; Weapon: +2 lethal damage from the cold; Armor: +3 to environmental checks for cold
        • Earth:Gives Solidity Solidity: Items never break, weapons never rust or need sharpening; Armor gains +2L/2B soak
        • Fire:Gives Insulation or Radiance Insulation: Item becomes completely immune to fire.; Radiance: Gives following effects for one mote or wp; Armor/clothes: +3 resistance to environmental heat
        • Water: Gives Fluidity Fluidity:Item can reshape itself at will, as long as one mote of essence or wp is committed, weapons can become non-threatening objects of similar size, clothes can retailor themselves, armor can compact itself into a bundle, etc.
        • Wood:Gives Rejuvenation Rejuvenation: Item repairs itself, as long as the item is not outright destroyed it heals one level of damage an hour, and superficial damage fades within minutes.
    • Sting of the Ice Hornet 15m, one creature
      • Creates a grey cloud of essence, the sorcerer then focuses on and points at one target within 300 yards, the cloud turns into a mass of ice shards the fly towards the target at 20 yards/tick, the sorcerer rolls (perception + occult) as an attack, adding automatic successes equal to his Essence; This attack cannot be parried, and decreases dodge DVs by 2, upon hitting it does 12 levels of lethal damage, the shards are not hindered by obstacles, and ignore cover -- they will continue to follow their target until he moves 500 yards away from the sorcerer, or 30 ticks pass.

    • For every mote of Essence spent, the exalted gains one die to use in a crafting action.
  • Craftsmen Need No Tools 7m 1wp, Craft 4 E 3; Supplemental Combo-OK, Instant
    • Removes all penalties for not having the appropriate tools for an act of crafting; character accomplishes (Essence x 3) hours of work for every hour of work done.

Virtue: Temperance

The character's focus and control contracts inward, leaving them obsessed with a single solitary activity or course of study. They will absorb themselves completely in their obsession, refusing to make concessions for bodily needs beyond the barest of sanitary arrangements for excretory functions. They automatically fail any face-to-face Social rolls, and suffer a two-die penalty on any Perception pools unrelated to the subject of their obsession. They avoid human contact, and may become violent if forced to divert their focus from their obsession. Such overwork can strain a character, and they must make a Stamina roll to avoid long-run negative repercussions.

Partial Control: The character may address urgent and essential duties, and may make consideration for bodily needs such as food, drink, and sleep, and may speak to others on matters of necessity or on matters of their obsession. Any non-urgent duties will be neglected in favor of the obsession. All Social pools suffer a two-die penalty.

Duration: One full day.

Condition: The character's curiosity is thwarted, work is interrupted, or necessity diverts them from favored projects to deal with Real Life.
