Falling Leaf

Falling Leaf is a No Moon sorceress living in Halta, near Kajeth. She has green hair of varying shades, brown skin, and blue eyes. Her spirit shape is the clouded leopard. Fangs are her Tell.

Falling Leaf likes to keep a higher altitude than those she interacts with; sitting on a higher branch in the forest, hanging from the ceiling with her claws, and so on. She has a talent for seeing problems from different angles, as well. She uses this to help the Silver Pact out-think the Fair Folk. She tends to talk slowly, almost drawling. She's usually calm and generally blasé, though she gets worked up on occasion..

Falling Leaf retrieved the young Watches-the-Fall and applied her tattoos. Her attitude toward her pupil is more one of using occasional creative nudges rather than direct intervention.

Sagacious Hermit Opossum

Mara's mentor is an elderly Lunar who Exalted late in his life only a few years after the end of the Usurpation. He remembers the terror and wars and destruction that led to the Shogunate, and the horror and atrocity and chaos that led to the founding of the Scarlet Dynasty. Consequently, he quickly grew irritated and disgusted by humans and retreated into the forests that would one day become Halta. He stayed there for decades, emerging only rarely to impart some wisdom he'd meditated on.

Sagacious Hermit Opossum is cantankerous, violent, crabby, irritable, and all around unpleasant to talk to, except when talking to Mara, who he loves as something like a daughter. He permits her to get away with things that no other person, live or dead, has been able to do without a beating following. To everyone else, especially Linowan and Fair Folk, he's almost outright violent, rather than merely surly.

He's small, wizened, and has white hair sticking out in all directions. When he's dressed at all, it's in a heavy burlap sarape.
