Ancillae
Ancillae is a Cainite social rank in Vampire: The Masquerade. No longer looked upon as newbies, Kindred of this rank are normally within fifty to two hundred years old, and have enough street cred and clout to be respected. Many are trusted agents of the Elders as a result, tasked to "troubleshoot" important missions, though equally many elect to build power bases of their own.
Unlike Elders, Ancillae have not quite discarded the trappings of their mortal lives, and indeed, their Humanity.
Meta[edit]
Ancillae is the next step up for PCs in the Kindred social ladder, and it's at this point where many Kindred are expected to play politics, given their level of experience and reputations. This is also the point where PCs have to become... creative, as the hard-capped limits of having a high Generation start to limit the feats of what a player can do or even fight.
