Heroes[edit]

"King" Ludwig the 13th[edit]

Mercenary Captain

13th in line to bear the name Ludwig in his bloodline, the "King" as his followers came to call him hails from a noble house of Marienburg, so called because of his charisma, leading skills and the air of authority that surrounds him. And his love of any and all things pompous, of course. Things fit for a king however cost a lot... Thus Ludwig and his merry band have come to Mordheim to make their fortune. So far, misfortune is all they made.

D'Artagnan[edit]

Youngblood

A youngster with great promise, D'Artagnan joined the band after he got into a bit of a disagreement involving a duel and whatnot with Ludwig's three most trusted men at the time, Athos, Porthos and Aramis. Thankfully, they quickly became friends once their duel was interrupted by guards, and Ludwig saw the promise of a good addition in the young D'Artagnan.

Henchmen[edit]

Porthos, the Man with the Iron Belly[edit]

1 Swordsman

Athos, Porthos and Aramis were the most experienced of Ludwig's men- but the city of the dead claimed two of the great three, and now only Porthos is left, drowning his sorrows in wine and combat- although his prowess at surviving in Mordheim seem to be much, much better than that of his late companions.

Karl and Daniel the "Royal Guards"[edit]

2 Warriors

These warriors usually guarantee the personal security of Ludwig with their halberds halberd, and thus they soon found themselves referred to as his "Royal Guard".

Dieter and Pieter the Musketeers[edit]

2 Marksmen

Although "King" Ludwig boldly named (and misspelled) his little warband muskeeters, the dedicated marksmen under his command are armed merely with crossbows. This never stopped them from proudly referring to themselves as musketeers, however, as a certain amount of ego seems to be mandatory to join.

Hired Sword

Once they have gotten used to how business goes in Mordheim, and also accumulated enough shards stowed away safely in a hidden chest, "King" Ludwig decided it is time to see if the wondrous tales about the power of precise rifles are true- and hired someone who can use such weapons to their truest potential.

Battles fought[edit]

The Muskeeters mounted a surprise atack on Horst's Gang of Outlaws, and proceeded to lose. Lose all of Ludwig's swag that is.

Soon after, the group stormed Sergei's Soldiers as they were sitting on a stash of Wyrdstone, but were beaten back badly, and fled with two men lost and only two shards found.

The Muskeeters came across some strange, sorcerous sorts from distant Araby while looking for wyrdstone shards- the results were disastrous. Ludwig is becoming more and more desperate.

The Muskeeters had a skirmish with Roger's Raiders, and left the battle without casualties! While fleeing, they came across a madman in tattered clothes whose babbling provided some useful bits of knowledge here and there, which will come handy the next time the gang goes on a little expedition in the city of the damned.

The Muskeeters were faced with Witch Hunters, the Order of the Chimera trying to break through their territory, and fended off the zealots successfully. The victory allowed them to secure their first sizeable load of precious wyrdstone!

The Muskeeters were searching for treasure in a ruined neighborhood, when they spotted a bunch of overgrown rats running away with a chest. before they could catch them, the rest of Filthfur's Knife Runners stood in their way, ensuring their escape with the loot.

THe Muskeeters came across a a young noblewoman and her weird retinue carrying wyrdstone (In reality, the Beasts in Velvet, dangerous vampires!). After short conemplation, Ludwig decided to leave chivalry behind, and robbed them of their wyrdstone shard.

Heroic Deaths[edit]

One of the first three Musketeers regrettably bit the dust against the vicious Outlaws of Horst Strenemann

A Royal Guard and Aramis perished when storming Sergei's Soldiers.

A vile sorceror from Araby and his bound spirits slayed Athos. Porthos is becoming a hopeless alcoholic.
