Rheddrian Benekander is an Immortal of the Sphere of Energy in the D&D setting of Mystara.
History
He was an engineer on the Beagle spacecraft that crash-landed on Mystar in the distant past. The entire crew fell asleep in the cold and began to wait for the arrival of help (this was not). Years later, without further elaboration, Benekander wakes up from his cooling vent to see a group of local Mystarans looting the ship and stealing all the shiny technology of the future. As a result of his intervention, the ship exploded. With the onset of energy, Benekander's body completely collapsed, but his consciousness remained in contact with the mirror technical object. The ship's engines, having survived the catastrophe and having penetrated deep underground, began to turn into an artifact called the core of spheres.
Personality
Benekander never really wanted to be an immortal, and is still uncomfortable with all the new powers he was given. He spends most of his time disguised as a mortal human, and is currently pretending to be a merchant in Darokin.
Appearance
A lean 7 foot tall man with light green skin, blue eyes and black hair, and a neatly trimmed mustache and beard. He wears a blue jumpsuit with black boots and belt, and carries the circular mirror device like a shield.
