Background[edit]

Aenkey showed incredible talent from an early age at Fire aligned craftsmanship, particularly the delicate work of machines and flame weapons. After assembling a fully functioning flame piece from scrap parts by age 10, the boy sought all the knowledge he could get, eventually coming to be the apprentice of a master craftsman who often worked with the Guild in Chiaroscuro, Tomadon.
After working for a time under the strict rule of his master, he asked to be able to work on the much more important Guild projects. Tomadon decided to put Aenkey to a test to see if he was truly worthy, the task of repairing a suit of long-since unusable armor he’d been given by the Guild to use for spare parts for other suits. The task was meant to be impossible, to dissuade the young craftsman from working with the Guild, but Aenkey took it as a challenge and spent weeks working on putting the damaged power armor back together. He finally succeeded at this impossible task out of sheer will and determination to succeed, and as he set the last piece back into place his forehead glowed with blues and golds of the Twilight, establishing him as a chosen of the Unconquered Sun. But in that instant he realized his goal in life was to create the most powerful armor ever seen, armor surpassing even that of the First Age’s greatest works.


Appearance[edit]

Aenkey has a fairly unimpressive look for a solar, he stands at about 5'11" and is fairly slim. He's got curly strawberry-blonde hair that's kind of a jew-fro plus a small ponytail in back. His skin is much lighter tan than usual for the south, and his eyes are blue if you see. He keeps the visor part of his armor on because it's much better than wearing glasses like he used to, but otherwise dresses in generic clothing that's durable enough for a working craftsman, preferring earth tones and blues.
His armor pretty much is the standard Sentinel armor out of the book, made of standard metals and Orichalcum with some indigo colored metals and crystal in places for detail, he keeps it Elsewhere when not wearing it. The helmet is absent besides the visor, however, apparently as a matter of personal aesthetics. The cape is a sunsetty shade of indigo. His flame pieces have been modified so that they're along the undersides of the bracers on the armor, and can be fired that way.
