Background

Cynis Megara was born to be a courtier--and a courtesan. She Exalted at a young age, and even before was always filled with virile strength... and morbid curiosity about the subject of poisons and drugs. Driven to work with plants, breeding and cross-breeding them, she was taught the courtesan's arts from a young age by her family. And, by her mother, she was inducted into the White Veil society, and taught arts even more secret than any of her others. Blossoming into a beautiful woman, she made a name for herself in the Realm with her parties and drugs, and any house she visited was guaranteed to be a center of decadence and debauchery as long as she was there.

Now, she is heading south, to the City of Glass. Her family--and her Society--require her to start a parlor there, to keep her ear to the ground, and to make profit... and to use her position to it's maximum advantage.

Appearance

Megara's skin is pale and perfect--her breeding not good enough to show amazingly--and her hair is a bright red color, shaped large and poofy atop her head, the red of a rose in bloom. Her eyes are a bright, piercing green, the color of spring leaves. She has a thin waist and wide hips, and a large bust--her body sculpted to perfection. A Jade Dragon Tattoo coils sensually from her left ankle up, wrapping around her leg and thigh, across her body to accent the best parts of her, with the head settling at the nape of her neck, appearing to lick the flesh there. Her makeup is always immaculate, and she is never, every dirty--and always smells faintly of natural perfumes. She is often wearing very fancy, colorful clothes--preferring especially a revealing dress of exotic silks that had been gifted to her a few years ago. A pendant of silver and jade hangs around her neck, the magic of that artifact keeping her body clean.

With her at all times is Jormawg, her hunting hound. A gift from a lover back on the Blessed Isle, Jormawg is fiercely protective of his mistress, and highly intelligent, his pedigree ancient and honored--but, unless his mistress is in danger, he acts much like a puppy less than half his size, a friendly, happy dog who happens to be the size of a small horse.

  • Presence: Auspicious First Meeting Attitude: 2m, Reflexive, Emotion, Social, One Scene. Can only be used when fist meeting the target. The Target will leave the encounter with a favorable opinion opinion of the Dragon-Blooded. While active, this Charm confers a +3 specialty "Exclusively against target" that applies to all social actions using any ability during social combat. Reduce this specialty by 1 for each prior scene of social combat in which the exalt and target both participated. May purchase multiple times to select reset conditions.
  • Socialize: Sweeten-the-Tap Method: 2m, Simple, Combo-OK, Emotion, One Scene. Enhance an eventual attended by no more than (Socialize Rating) Magnitude indivuduals. Anyone who consumes recreational intoxicants (including alcohol) suffers -1 MDV for the scene. If a social attack botches against an affected individual, they must spend 1 WP to not Join Battle. May be repurchased to enchant different social pleasures.

  • White Veil Style: Birdsong Over Blades: 2m, Reflexive, Combo-OK, (Martial Arts) Actions. Attacks made with this charm active have adverse affects even when dealing no actual damage. Targets do not know they have been effected by other effects.
  • White Veil Style: Alehouse Memory Stance: 3m, supplemental, Combo-OK, (Martial Arts) Actions. Should the character suddenly make an attack in the midst of the festivities, she does not suffer the +2 difficulty to make her attack unexpected.
