Backgrounds

This simple looking jet-black blade only has one piece of ornamentation on it, a white ribbon around the hilt that has charred holes in the shape of runes. Isaac normally carries the sword within his own shadow, summoning it as needed in a whisper of mist. When it is actually in his hand, Isaac can burn a point of willpower to invoke its true power to add his Melee score to any Counterweaving attempt he makes. He refuses to name the weapon itself.

Merits and Flaws

  • Riastradh (5 point merit) - Isaac possesses an ability to enter a combat trance he calls a fugue, where he becomes basically a living force of destruction and havoc. He gets +2 dice to all chimerical combat rolls, but must roll a Difficulty 8 Willpower roll to leave battle.
  • Medium (2 point merit) - Possibly due to the near-death experience that was Isaac's Chrysalis, the sidhe is able to sense the dead. He tries to ignore it mostly.
  • Nightmares (1 point flaw) - The sidhe has bizarre dreams wake him up gasping and refusing to speak of them, keeping him from a good night's rest from time to time.
  • Surreal Quality (2 point flaw) - Something about Isaac's mortal side looks strange, something that draws people in and makes them want to know him. He doesn't mind so much at times, but that air of mystery gets the attention of those he'd rather NOT get bothered by.
  • Amnesia (2 point flaw + 2 from Unknown) - Much to Isaac's annoyance, he has a good chunk of his memories missing. Maybe that's why he doesn't take much seriously. There's another flaw floating there as well, but that's for the ST to know :3 (bastard).
