Intro[edit]

Dr. Kane adjusted his blood-flecked glasses, getting up from where he had been squatting next to the twisted body. "How sad. The Daemon didn't take. Do we have any more?" The mutated abomination, all black metal chitin and spines, crushed the remains of the body into a reddish pulp. It gurgled in a buzzing tone, but Kane nodded. "How unfortunate. We'll be needing more." The four-armed but otherwise normal mutant on Kane's other side shrugged, weapons jangling in their multitude of harnesses.

The Malaphim are a small band of heretics led by Dr. Kane, who seeks to find a perfected way to fuse Daemons and Warp-energy into living beings. His experiments are more depraved than even most found in the accursed city, all in service to Tzeentch and the Unspeakable Beast. At his side is his first experiment, Aschridael, and his retainer, Kadraksha.

Dr.Jesnil Kane[edit]

Dr. Jesnil Kane was once a physician, interested in perfecting the human form and making people better than before. That way, though, led him down the path of Chaos, and he sought out the hope of change for the better in Tzeentch. This hope faded into madness, and now he knows nothing of why he tortures and warp-infuses all the people who cycle through his life. He is missing two fingers on his left hand. GODDAMMIT, CULTIST-CHAN.

A man named Richard Gotensteid's body now runs on the power of Chaos, a twisted thing of hideous chitin and black steel teeth. He was Dr. Kane's first real experiment into the nature of warp-infusing a human body with a Daemon. Now lobotomized by a perfect shot, it serves as the brute muscle of the group, a brain-dead hulk of destruction.

A crazed cultist girl with incredibly sharp teeth and Chaos symbol tattoos all over her body. She is with the group for no other reason than to look after Ashridael, whom she sees as being like a child or pet. Seems to take well to Kane's revivification experiments using Warp energy, as evidenced by her reincarnation
