The Chaos Dwarf Sorcerer must be in contact with an Engine of Chaos in order to successfully cast this spell. As the ritual requires the sacrifice of a mortal, remove one captive model from the Engine of Chaos and its starting warband’s roster. The Sorcerer may sacrifice additional captives to lower the spell's difficulty by –1 per sacrifice. These models must be sacrificed before rolling for Difficulty. The Chaos Dwarf Sorcerer gains +D3 Experience.

All models engaged in base contact with the sorcerer must make an immediate Ld test or break from combat and run.
Earthquake: Difficulty 9
All models within 3” of the Sorcerer, friend or foe alike, must roll equal to or under their Initiative or suffer D3 S4 hits.
Lava Flow: Difficulty 7
The Sorcerer may move 12” in any direction, even into combat, counting as a charge. However, due to the nature of this spell the Sorcerer may only reappear on or below the ground.
Flickering Hide: Difficulty 10
The Sorcerer may cast this spell upon himself or any one model within 6”. The flaming hide will negate any one wound suffered on a D6 roll of 4+. In hand-to-hand combat, any model which hits the flaming hide will suffer one S3 hit for each hit scored. The Flaming Hide lasts until the beginning of the Sorcerer’s next shooting phase.

Breakthrough vs Ragna's Inquisition (Witch Hunters): Victory. Reagan was mobbed by hounds after charging and failing to kill a witch hunter. The remaining warriors were able to take out the hounds and a flagellant, enough to force the enemy to rout. Reagan suffered a leg wound, but exploration went well and we were able to hire two henchmen.
Breakthrough vs The Circus of Values (Carnival of Chaos): Defeat. We were badly outnumbered by the enemy, and our desperate efforts achieved little. One Bull Moose was lost, but exploration went well and we were able to capture the enemy leader and ransom him back. This gave us enough gold to add three warriors to The Bull Moose.
Skirmish vs Ragna's Inquisition (Witch Hunters): Defeat. Poor positioning allowed us to be overwhelmed without many of our warriors ever fighting back, and our shooting failed to disable any enemies. Reagan continues to do nothing.
Occupy vs Skull and Bones: Defeat. We were heavily outnumbered by the vampire and his thralls. Judging our force unable to hold this part of the city, we chose to strike at the enemy with our entire band. The vampire was unwilling to bring all of his ghouls against us, and we were able to eliminate a number of them without suffering any casualties, but in the end the vampire prevailed and we were forced to retreat. We found a number of shards, and an old friend from the capital graciously offered to pay the cover for a hired sword.
Surprise Attack vs The Circus of Values: Victory. We caught the enemy unaware and heavily spread out, and were able to disable a number of their warriors without reprisal, including the fearsome Teeth. Nails was caught alone, but in shooting him Teddy also stunned Reagan, whom was finished off by Nails. Further shooting stunned Nails, whom was finished by Nixon, whom was finished by a plaguebearer whom was killed by then-henchman Franklin. After this the enemy chose to flee, unwilling to commit to a prolonged melee without their best warriors. Franklin was promoted for his stellar efforts.
Treasure Hunt vs Skull and Bones: Victory. The battle could scarcely have gone better. Nixon escaped with the treasure while blunderbuss fire thinned the ranks of the vampire's followers. Both constituents were disabled during the battle but recovered, and exploration coupled with the treasure yielded a huge amount of gold.
Chance Encounter vs Skull and Bones: Defeat. We encountered the thralls of the vampire Freddy yet again. Our blunderbusses proved less effective than last time, and our enemy more determined. Our constituents and Reagan were taken out of action and we decided to retreat. The constituents recovered, but Reagan's injury will keep him from participating in battle for a while yet.
