The Badab War was a major rebellion in the Imperium's history, lead by Lufgt Huron and the Astral Claws. He first conquered the Badab Sector and decided he should rule all of it, like the Ultramarines ruling Ultramar. Then Imperial forces demanded the tithes. He refused. And three other chapters were honorbound to fight with him. And such began the most bloody rebellion in the 41st Millenium. And also the most famous appearances of a shitton of minor chapters that most people haven't heard of, who will probably never appear outside a few novels and the Imperial Armor books. Pretty unique among wars in that it almost all fights were between Space Marines, with little Guardsmen (traitor or otherwise) in sight.

==The Conflict== (I don't remember what happens)

The Space Sharks made the generators on this planet explode, destroying it. This resulted in Huron getting away and becoming a powerful Chaos Lord, and the Exorcists shooting down allied ships in the discord. Then they had the inhabitants of the home planets of the Mantis Warriors kill eachother and took the survivors as recruits. Man they are assholes.

TRAITOR FORCES

LOYALIST FORCES

  • Fire Hawks (Before they became the Legion of the Damned)
  • Marines Errant
  • Carcharadons/Space Sharks (Lead by Tyberos the Red Wake, only known wielder of LIGHTNING CHAINCLAWS)
  • Red Scorpions (Forge World's personal favorite chapter)
  • Exorcists (Only sucessor chapter of Grey Knights. Possessed and then exorcised of Daemons to become immune to them)
  • Salamanders (The only Chapter in the war that most people would recognise)
  • Fire Angels
  • Raptors
  • Minotaurs (Personal favourites of the High Lords of Terra. One of their Captains publicly insulted Marneus Calgar and those who "slavishly fawned" over him. Thus they are awesome.)
  • Sons of Medusa
  • Howling Griffons
  • Novamarines
  • Star Phantoms
