Quake

Quake is an Id software video game series, by the same people who made Doom. The first game in the series, much like Doom, was based on the Homebrew Dungeons & Dragons campaigns that the founders of Id software had with each other. Unlike Doom, which was more focused on Hell, Quake was more Lovecraftian at first, with Shub-Niggurath of H.P. Lovecraft's works being the main antagonist.
