Mordenkainen

Mordenkainen is an archmage from the Greyhawk setting, and technically that setting's equivalent of Elminster, being the setting's Big Name Adventurer-Patroning Wizard. He runs the Circle of Eight, a group of eight archmagi, and is an old adventuring buddy of Iggwilv, Murlynd and Zagyg. He's best known for appointing himself the one-man peacekeeper of the world... unfortunately for the world, he's a True Neutral of the Stupid Neutral variety and so his machinations involve fucking things over for Evil and Good alike, depending on who he thinks is going best.
