When not tasing one's gonads is considered HERESY!

Lectro-Maesters are a type of Artisan Tech Priest of the Adeptus Mechanicus. They are usually seen as a somewhat senior figures of the Electro Priests. Like their Technoarcheologist brethren from the same Artisan guild, the Lectro-Maesters are more explorers than armed soldiers, except they look for high-energy sources for the Motive Force rather than STCs.

Overview[edit]

The Lectro-Maesters have a powerful and innate connection with the Motive Force, allowing them to fully understand and wield energy. They are often charged with claiming the energies of unexplorted territories, and the Electro-Priests of the Mechanicus have come to view them as prophets of the Omnissiah as a result.

Lectro-Maesters wield an array of technological marvels, such as a generator backpack which generates a powerful voltagheist field which sends out wraiths of energy whenever the wearer is threatened. These bursts of electricity can also act as a shield, prematurely detonating incoming munitions and dissipating energy projectiles. They are also equipped with a Voltaic Blaster. Their only weakness is their curiosity, for they often accompany Rogue Traders and Explorator Fleets in dangerous expeditions to unknown areas in search of new forms of energy.

Crunch[edit]

On the Kill Team tabletop, the Lectro-Maester is part of the Elucidian Starstriders' crew and the chief token Cogboy.

This guy only gets a decent Voltaic Pistol for combat, short-ranged but with okay damage and Rending with Splash for some coverage. His value lies in his support assets, as he spends one less AP for objective actions and the ability to let friendly operatives within 2 circles re-roll a save.

He gets two mutually exclusive special actions. One of them lets him electrocute one enemy performing an objective action within 2 circles, dealing d6 MW. The other amps up his pistol with Lethal 4+, making those splashes a bit more reliable.

He is categorised under the Staunch and Marksman category.
