Background[edit]
The Glasgan Fatalis are an Imperial Army from Glasgan, a far-flung world, beset on all sides from chaos, xenos, and mutants. The people of Glasgan have their lives artificially shortened, so that they experience growing up, marriage, and child-rearing all before 15. From then on, all citizens, male or female, enter the Fatalis. Due to the fact that they have largely experienced most of their lives already, death in combat is scoffed at and seen as a non-issue. Therefore, they fight with little-to-no regard for their own safety. They mostly used outdated weaponry and equipment, such as all manner of autoguns, shotguns, and rifles, and primitive metal helmets and signature mechanic goggles (for the primitive promethium vehicles and machinery they work with), and of course, good old fashioned explosives. The Glasgans are mainly deployed for quick, battle-ending shock-charges, usually during prolonged conflicts that Imperial officers wish to end prematurely.
Organization[edit]
There are a surprisingly low amount of positions one can take in the Glasgan Infantry, as they are all around the same skill level with little-to-no requirements. These positions include; gunner, driver, mechanic, grenadier, and the famed "piper". The Piper is a special unit, and acts as a morale boost for all Glasgans who hear its mighty song. If the piper is killed, this often sends the Glasgans into a furious rage, proving deadly to the enemy while alive AND dead.
Doctrine[edit]
There are only two rules in the Glasgan Fatalis; Fight hard and Run towards the enemy.
Homeworld[edit]
Glasgan is a foggy, hilly, emerald-green feral world full of chaos mutants, most notably beastmen of all kinds. Warp Storms plague the Glasgan System, making space travel dodgy; thus IA shipments are made only once every 15 years.
