Lore

The Fiery Sons were formed in the 22st Founding as a standing force in the Heliyo System, as there was a lack of Astartes presence. Their chapter home-world is the feral desert world of Erimos I.

One of their most famous brothers was their first Chapter_Master Argyros Protarchikos. He personally lead the 8th Company, the chapters mobile reserve, in an action against an Eldar Craftworld that threatened the system. He and his company boarded it and inflicted grievous casualties before withdrawing swiftly with only 6% casualties.

Other Information

The Fiery Sons home-world is the feral Desert World of Erimos I and is ruled by the chapter in stweardship. The tribes of Erimos I regularly elect a barbarian high-king called the "Autokratos". The chapters follows the Codex Astartes most of the time but takes its freedoms. Their special tactics are Shock and Awe attack, special use of power scimitars and power lances (the lance is called "Doratius" and the round storm-shields are called "Aspius" after their home-world equivalent as well as promethium-flamer equipped drop-pods, built after the plans of a recently discovered STC.

In recent history, the chapter got betrayed by it's Librarius Zopyros Apaisios, who turned into a Demon Prince of Tzeentch. 59% of the chapter either died in the battle or turned traitor (and got killed by the loyalists). The chapter has especially good ties to the Imperial Navy, due to their assistance during the betrayal by Zopyrus.

The chapter tends to paint their bikes and trikes, which they heavily use for their Shock and Awe tactics, in white to resemble their home-worlds sun god horses.

What a nice color scheme.
