Erasmus Tycho

Erasmus Tycho was a Captain of the 3rd Blood Angels company who succumbed to the Black Rage after being horribly disfigured by a Weirdboy's psychic attack. He is a shining example of Your dudes, as his background came from the very first White Dwarf battle report for WH40K Second Edition where he was killed by an Ork player's Weirdboy. His official name and wargear are the same as they were in that first battle.

Soon after his disfigurement, Tycho brooded and sulked until he started seeing the hereditary visions of Horus and became marked for the Death Company. He spent his last battle taking an Ork-held hive city, during which he was a instrumental participant.

On the tabletop Tycho comes with 2+/4++ saves, assault and defensive grenades, a combi-melta with special issue ammunition, a special chainfist that carries no initiative penalty, digital weapons and Preferred Enemy: Orks. He also allows all other friendly Blood Angels units to use his LD10. You may also take a Death Company version of Tycho who doesn't come with Independent Character (so no joining squads) but instead has Fleet, Feel No Pain, Relentless and a host of Death Company goodies.
