Adeptus Mechanicus Escort
Just like their imperial counterparts the Adeptus Mechanicus also have Escorts. Unlike the Escorts of most naval factions, the Adeptus Mechanicus are a bunch of stingy cheapskates. Despite being the premier weapon producers for the Imperium, the AdMech never seem to make their own class of Escorts. Rather, they 'borrow' all of the Escorts from both the Imperial Navy and the Space Marines.
It is unknown why it is like this. However, it is theorised that the Explorator Fleets like to put their eggs on their Cruisers and Light Cruisers; deeming that designing an AdMech-exclusive Escort class to be too unimportant and most crucial of all, a waste of time and resources when the Escorts from both the Imperial Navy and Astartes are good enough.
