Background

The Dowager's little known 'Dusk Caste Champion,' once known as Worm Underfoot, was Dowager's only experiment in exalting someone who was not a child. He was, however, cursed with the mind of a child, and subjected to endless vivisection and torture. His limbs, malformed from birth, were replaced with crude necrotech replacements, and his face still is covered with scars from when he only had knives for fingers. Holding only contempt for him, the Dowager would often allow his necrotech limbs to decompose, allowing him to feel the sensation of decaying while still alive, until they would stop working altogether, being forced to crawl around like his namesake. He did not like to kill furred animals and so he was forced to subsist largely on a diet of bugs and filthy water, sleeping in a hole. Abyssals created by the Mask of Winters 'rescued' him from his former fate and showed him a 'kinder' master, who has granted him decent meals, finely crafted necrotech prosthetics which can be changed as the situation warrants, and a new name: The Dragon Below.

And yet, though Mask fancied himself doing the brute a favor by curing him of his brain defects and granting him genius-level intellect, the Dragon Below only views his increased level of understanding as a source of never-ending horror. Though formerly in constant pain and humiliation, only now does he realize the nature of the pact with the Neverborn that he -- and his master -- made, and just how close all Creation is to falling into the Void. He realizes that he is truly what the 'normal' humans have viewed him as all along -- a monster.

Appearance

A giant of a man, the Dragon Below is still covered in scars. Soulsteel plates are fixed to his head and his face shows the signs of being broken and rebuilt many times. He has very little of a living body left... at least 80% of his body weight has been replaced with necrotech, largely of inorganic nature. He moves with an uneven gait and pipes of steam and electrical cables are more than enough testament to the fact that he is made more machine than man. Sad brown eyes look out from beneath a heavy brow and betray a glimmer of intelligence that he would rather not have.

Combos

Friend-Saving Technique: Typically costs 8m+, 2+wp, and 2+m/round. Fists of Iron Technique supplements each attack for 1 mote, making the damage lethal, increasing Accuracy by 1, and Damage by 2. Consuming Entropy Strike lets him spend 3m upon touching an enemy with a strike or a martial arts parry, decreasing the target's soak by 5 for a scene. Second Martial Arts Excellency allows him to add up to 5 automatic successes to any given martial arts roll for the scene, normally for free, per Infinite Mastery. 
Unnatural Shambling Deftness lets him spend 3m and 1wp to get up to 5 Martial Arts attacks, Power-Reaping Prana lets him spend 1 mote to regain 1 mote per 2 spent by a nearby target, to a maximum of 10. Scuttling Apparation Defense allows him to spend 4 motes to reduce an attack to zero dice, or 6 motes to also require a foe to spend a willpower to continue a flurry. Living Shield Technique lets him reflexively shield an ally. Willpower Bolstering Spirit lets him recover willpower if he suffers injury. Wood Dragon Vitality allows him to increase his bashing soak by his Martial Arts and soak lethal damage with his full stamina.
