Angel designated "Leliel" appeared on the outskirts of Boston, literally out of thin air. Angel appeared to be a .5km diameter sphere floating 20 meters above the ground, casting a very deep shadow. Units 10-13 sortied in response.

Unit 11 and 12 fired at the Angel, but the projectiles went straight through, resulting in no damage. Unit 10 charged at the Angel, but as soon as it stepped in the shadow, it disappeared. All contact with the Eva was lost, including life signs. Unit 13's pilot lost control of his Eva, which then followed Unit 10 with similar results.

Units 11 and 12 ordered to hold, but Unit 11 advanced anyway and walked quite purposefully into the void. It was evident from comm chatter that something, perhaps the Angel itself, was speaking directly to the pilot. Unit 12 showed no signs of being contacted by the Angel and held position, although his shots never seemed to damage the Angel.

MAGI analysis returned that the Angel was using an Inverted A.T. Field; the shadow was a Dirac Sea where its actual body was, and the floating orb was merely its shadow. This was neither informative nor helpful in getting my pilots back.

4 minutes of complete silence later, the Angel exploded. Units 10, 11, and 13 were ejected from the void. Unit 11's pilot was unresponsive, and Unit 13 was still berzerking. Unit 10 subdued Unit 13, but then, against orders and apparently not directly under the pilot's control, moved to Unit 11, which was, for lack of a better word, weeping. The pilot was also distraught, but I am referring specifically to the Evangelion. Unit 10 seemed to comfort Unit 11 until it ran out of power, at which point all the Evas were returned to the dock.

All of the pilots proved unwilling to talk about what happened while they were in the Angel's Dirac Sea. However, it is evident that they each faced serious emotional trauma. Additionally, the Evas are evidently not giant robots, as giant robots do not cry or comfort one another. In fact, Sonny stated that Unit 11 ███████████████████████████. ███████████████████████████████████████. [Sorry, Rashiid. That's a secret. How about you have a drink and forget that you ever heard anything about it. -Eric]
