Kobolds are pretty much a pile of organs for the purpose of beating, dismembering, and laughing at. They used to be dogs, but they ended up reptiles somehow. They're generally tiny and wimpy, with adventures picking on them because they're short,with the exception of Pun-Pun. Nobody fucks with Pun-Pun. They can make pretty nice traps, and can actually be a threat if played right. (Namely Tuckers Kobolds http://tuckerskobolds.com/)
Cutebolds
Cutebolds are like Kobolds only incredibly cute.
They are pitiful and childish in everything they do, and are innocent enough to not know how to procreate. All they know is that rubbing their noses gives them a guilty pleasure.
Unified Setting Description
Unified Setting kobolds are based off of Cutebolds. Considered slightly dim, but with a lot of heart they dwell in the deserts of Lindwurm, the southernmost continent.
Thousands of years ago however kobolds weren't cute. They were an unstoppable army lead by the insane Draconian known as Tiamat. Endless waves of kobold shock-troops, warlocks and sappers annihilated the burmecian nation, leaving less than a thousand survivors in the end. Tiamat abandoned the kobolds after the war and they dissolved into small camps.
Being ruled by Tiamat was not exactly pleasant. To this day Kobolds have an aversion to anything draconic or reptilian and consider five to be a very unlucky number.
