Dream Pod 9 is the company famous for inventing Heavy Gear, an animesque real robot tabletop game. All of their games have a roleplaying variant (with the exception of Tribe 8, as it's already an RPG) that uses the Silhouette system. They are based in Montreal, Canada. Lover of all things robots, they helped make expansions for Palladium's Macross II RPG and have been in the game since. Their products are high quality and games fun, but do to their hatred of the eternal advertiser, you won't hear much if anything about them amongst the more popular in the wargame scene. Has a small but loyal fanbase that prefers it this way.
