Yeah, they still exist in the 41th millenium. The Illuminati were in the really old fluff as a human counterpart to the eldar Harlequins, who did what the Exorcists do to make them invisible to demons. They were related to the Star Child plot. However, in recent Horus Hersey fluff it seems that Malcador the Sigillite was one.
