Githyanki
The Githyanki (also known as the Gith or them damn Yankis) are a chaotic evil race in the Dungeons and Dragons setting and look like some horrible cross of elves, goblins and gremlins.
They are a martial race where males and females practice swordwork and magic with heavy intensity.
They are ruled by a undead queen that is so paranoid that when she hears one of her subjects has obtained a certain level of power, she will summon them to her palace and promptly eat them so no-one will be a threat to her. Most of the giths are idiot enough to do this out of blind loyalty to her, which is weird since they are also described as 'fiercely individualistic', which would make you think they have some sense of their own.
They just love war and have been involved in many major conflicts in the setting.
