The Runemaster is one of the kits for Advanced Dungeons & Dragons 2nd edition introduced in the article "Dark Ages: Roleplaying in Anglo-Saxon Britain" in Dragon Magazine #257. As its name suggests, it's a Wizard kit based on a mage who uses the futhark (Anglo-Saxon rune alphabet) as the focus for magical effects, similar to the later Runecaster kit.
