*Legendary legions: 9, predictable choices except one and a really good one too (Helm's guard)...(I missed one too by the way...Poor Eorl) Each one provides you different playstyles and are fun to play. The ony con is that Minas Tirith only has one exclusive legendary legion (Siege of Minas Tirith legendary legion where are you?) while Rohan gets four (not counting the allied mix with Rohan heroes or troops)

*The supplement meant LONG AWAITED new versions for Saruman (with the palantir and the plint great), Grima, Éomer, Treebeard ( still waiting this big lovely ent to get on sale)

*Dunland gets the love it deserves: New models with new profiles alongside them (3 for heroes and 3 for troops). They even get a battle company updated and a NEW LEGENDARY LEGION. My only con is why Dunland is not a proper faction in the game with just a green alliance with Isengard. This factions has more variety than Khand, Easterlings, Arnor and Númenor (all are proper factions) and is integrated in Isengard..WHY?

*HELM HAMMERHAND...Oh boy what a nice looking model and his rules for Helm's guard legendary legion...HE LOOKS LIKE CHUCK NORRIS and those are strong words.

*Rohan house kit (multicomponent and you can combine four of them to create a really nice looking palace that ressembles Meduseld yeah) and Rohan palisades with bell tower kit...TWO THUMBS UP GW (If Gondor at War had come with a Minas Tirith house kit or walls kit...)

Contents of the supplement: A lot of REALLY GOOD STUFF (yeah I am not always whinning, sometimes I can praise something and when GW and Middle earth team do a GREAT JOB we have to take it into account)

Highlights:

  • Well written scenarios and with better equilibrium in general compared to the ones that came in Gondor at War (cough Faramir's charge cough cough)
  • Legendary legions: 9, predictable choices except one and a really good one too (Helm's guard)...(I missed one too by the way...Poor Eorl) Each one provides you different playstyles and are fun to play. The ony con is that Minas Tirith only has one exclusive legendary legion (Siege of Minas Tirith legendary legion where are you?) while Rohan gets four (not counting the allied mix with Rohan heroes or troops)
  • The supplement meant LONG AWAITED new versions for Saruman (with the palantir and the plint great), Grima, Éomer, Treebeard ( still waiting this big lovely ent to get on sale)
