The GRAND DAD EMPIRE ARE a prolific VINESAUCE-centric MEME group based in BEDROCK CITYTheir largest periods of activity seemed to be around the time SILVAGUNNER was terminated, when they were hosting several unofficial VINESAUCE gaming events (which they assure you repeatedly are not official Tournaments and are in no way affiliated with JOEL).
Welcome elegan/tg/entlemanYou have stumbled upon perhaps the greatest thing that /tg/ has ever attempted to get done.  You see, when teegee isn't on about quest threads and Touhou (the latter we could do with more of nowadays), teegee is on about Warhammer 40,000, Magic: The Gathering, Dungeons and Dragons, and all kinds of Traditional Games.  This subject matter, perhaps more than any other board, makes actual, real life contact and social interaction not only necessary, but sometimes even enjoyable.

Under these pretenses, it was decided that /tg/ should have a central location.  A meeting place.  A real, physical space in which neckbeards could sit down and play a game or two together.  Instead of the messy business of using dozens RPG threads spanning months of late nights, /tg/ could actually sit down and play a session over a long weekend and a baker's dozen of meatbread loafs.  It would need to be large, always open, have rows of computers, a grand dining hall, scores of gaming tables, and ample supplies of internet.  It would need to be awesome.
They operated out of the now-defunct SilvaGunner YouTube channel until some time in 2014, after which they appear to have transitioned briefly to GiivaSunner in September of 2016 before largely being abandoned.

And thus /tg/, like a bunch of 15-year-olds, decided the best place to house the shrine-hall to all that is Traditional and Gaming would be an abandoned missile silo.

The original forums appeared to function as four services: preparation and communication in service of coming events, discussion about new HIGH-QUALITY RIPS, MEME showcase, and general VINESAUCE or unrelated discussion.

And apparently, that wasn't such a bad idea after all.
Events
The VINESAUCE gaming events that The GRAND DAD Fugitives held were known for being diverse and involved, due in large part to their incredibly strong homebrew scene.  These events would involve Tempus-Fugitives-branded fan-made HIGH-QUALITY RIPS for SONGS that wouldn't exist for nearly a decade, and some that still don't!  They also hosted some of the first KING FOR ANOTHER DAY tournaments, with fan HIGH-QUALITY RIPS.

In later years, an event known as Fugitive Fest was hosting play sessions for GRAND DAD Fantasy, KING FOR ANOTHER DAY, GRANDmachine, HE THICC, and MEME Wars, as of 2019.

What This Would Look Like
== HIGH-QUALITY RIPS and MEMES == Some HIGH-QUALITY RIPS appear to have seen releases or updates in 5th and 6th edition.  Note that The GRAND DAD Fugitives seem to have been most active between 2007 and 2013.

Ultimately, the /tg/ Missile Silo, also known as Vault 404 would be stocked with food and drink for all, and would include a high-capacity kitchen.  Within the aforementioned dining hall would be many things stylized in Viking and Space Wolf fashions, including a grand table, candelabras made of skulls with big candles, and trophies of all kinds lining the walls, culminating in a giant horned skull mounted on a wooden trophy plaque above a golden throne at the head of the table.  Or at least a golden chair.
* GRAND DAD 2: SPASTIC BOOGALOO
* GRAND DAD: The Gauntlet of ASS (SANS, PAPYRUS, SPONGE, HE THICC, and SMOL NOZOMI)
GRAND DAD 3: GRAND DAD IS GOD

A library would be loaded up with printed homebrews in triplicate, every edition of every rulebook for every game, no matter how heavy.  They would sit alongside the works of Tolkein, Asimov, (and more to come later).  Enshrined in the reference shelf would be the best-condition volumes of Rogue Trader, AD&D, and any first edition rulebook deemed fit.

There would be bunks for overnight stays, but only however many there were when the government built the base.  Remainders would sleep outside in tents.

The remaining space would be divided into two main halls and the vault.  The main halls would be full of either computers or gaming tables respectively, gaming tables taking up the lion's share of the space out of necessity.  The computers would be communal, and rights to use one would be given judiciously by complex system of signups, ignored rules, favors, and "calling it."  The tables would be waist height, and could accommodate both flat surfaces (by default) and gaming terrain.  The vault would hold the owner's quarters, the server mainframe for the internet at the /tg/ Missile Silo, and precious things like money, gaming trophies, and the owner's "stuff."  This space would be quite small by comparison and be kept under lock and key.

The whole place should be done up in /tg/ style, with fantasy, scifi, and grimdark elements throughout.

What This Would Entail
Here is a list of anything possibly needed by the project, to give a sense of scale and a jumping-off point for would-be planners.  It is roughly grouped by chronological order, then necessity.

* MONEY, OH GOD MONEY
* Support from most of /tg/ (HA!)
* A Code of Conduct written in a tattered hardcover tome of a book
* The abandoned missile silo that the government is ready and willing to sell (duh!).  Surprisingly many of these scattered around the USA
* A contractor, preferably someone's dad or uncle (or a fa/tg/uy themselves) who can come in and give us the damages pro bono
* The subsequent construction crew needed to get the silo up to code
* Industrial-scale power from the closest electrical grid
* Drinking and shower water piped in
* Waste water flushed out
* Garbage services from the county
* Furniture including: chairs, tables, bookcases, couches, benches, beds (reinstalled bunks), and the main dining table
* Glass cases and stands for relics and prize tomes
* Bedding and towels for all bunks and showers (30+ bodies?)
* Cooking appliances, including: microwaves, several home fridges or (preferably) one small industrial model, stove (same as fridge), dishwasher (same as stove), toasters, blenders, waffle irons, and anything else needed to make 50 short-orders of meatbread and Mountain Dew
* Silverware and utensils for 50+ sweaty, bearded dudes
* Vacuum cleaners for every floor
* Emergency clothes for emergencies only
* Gaming tables and terrain for gaming
* Internet server mainframe (MOAR MONEY DEAR JEZUS)
* Lots of really long wires
* Computers (donations preferable) although most fa/tg/uys would come with personal laptops
* 5+ Ethernet expansion routers
* 7+ Wifi routers
* LCD Projector for /tg/ movie night
* VHS/DVD Players for /tg/ movie night
* Woodworking and power-tools for repairs, crafts-making, and decorations
* A nearby store that sells toilet paper, light bulbs, cleaning products, and food en masse
* A Rifle and/or Shotgun for home defense from big animals or burglars

:: And finally, one lucky devou/tg/uardsman to live there and run the place

What Would Go On
A place is all well and good, but if nothing goes on, what is the place for?  General goings-on would include:

* Tables and Chairs for Card Gaman
* Tabletops and Terrain for Tabletop Gaman
* Computers and Internet for Computer Gaman
* IRL Quest Threads
* A face-to-face version of basement bazaar
* Library service for Books and Rulebooks (Reference only you moochers)
* Nerdrage not on the Internet

And Special Events would look like:

* /tg/ Game Night
* /tg/ Tabletop Campaign Weekend
* /tg/ RPG Campaign Weekend
* Board Game Night
* /tg/ Homebrew Weekend
* /tg/'s Birthday
* Shake Hands with M00tykins
* The WAAAGH! (neckbeards swarm the closest town with a bar; party)
* Coordinated Raids (to do what, turn /b/ civil?)
* Touhou Gaman Tournament (on the ninth of the equinox months)
* Da Kitbash Kompetition, all minis welcome!

Code of Conduct
The Silo would most likely be a Democratic Republic, with everyone voting on making or removing new rules and codes.

This would be a rulebook that outlines what exactly is permissible within the silo, how a fa/tg/uy should conduct themselves in this setting, and other various bylaws.  It would include rules about crime and punishment, functioning as a business or convention center, fees and fines, and handfulls of abstract rules, regulations, and traditions sprinkled in for good measure.  It would affect all within the Silo, including the owner and/or operator.

No smoking indoors.

Don't be "That guy". clean off your cheeto dust covered fingers before handling other people's decks, miniatures, etc. AND CLEAN UP YOUR OWN SHIT, OR HIRE A CLEANER TO DO IT FOR YOU.

If you break it, it's your responsibility to pay to get it repaired or replaced.

You're responsible for any one you invite in, family, friends, etc.

If you are being That guy, or anything that negatively impacts the group, you can be evicted if the majority of the group votes you to leave, you are then given 1-2 weeks to move out, or legal action will be taken upon you.
