Eldar Titans are large mechanical, bipedal combat walkers produced by the Eldar. Similar to the lumbering Titans that are the greatest war machines of the Imperium of Man, in this case the Revenant Scout Titans combine grace, speed and deadly firepower. These tall, slender war engines are built to be aesthetically pleasing as well as fully functional, standard to the elf faction of 40k. These units are like Warhound Scout Titans only they can actually run and lay down lots of Firepower! Think of the BattleTech Madcat when it made its debut in the Inner Sphere, and you'll get the idea of this thing well enough.

Overview[edit]
As noted, Revenant Titans are ludicrously fast and agile for their size, this high mobility is further supported with the aid of jump jets and gravitic motors (hey Imperium, remember those grav-harnesses you have?), allowing it to leap into the battlefield like a super ballerina. Seriously, we are not joking when we meant 'prance like a super ballerina'. Fuckers actually tip-toe like pansies. The Revenant is particularly protected by an image-distorting Holo-field projected from the Titan's fins which can confuse auspexes of all types, this is a replacement for heavy armor and void shields used by other races.
The crew of the Revenant consist of one Eldar known as a steersman, whose consciousness melds with the spirits contained within the Titan's wraithbone core until they act like one, similiar to those giant biological mechs from Neon Genesis Evangelion. The most notable aspect of the Revenant, however, is the fact that they are often manned by one of a pair of siblings, with the other of the pair piloting a second Revenant close by. This leads to Revenant Titans often hunting in packs like wolves, their actions coordinated by the psychic link formed by their pilots' blood ties. So you would never encounter one by itself.
Weaponry[edit]
A Revenant Primary weapon consists of a pair of Pulsars or Sonic Lances.
Secondary armament consists of a shoulder-mounted Revenant Missile Launcher (now where have we heard that before?), loaded with a plasma warhead.
Crunch[edit]
In 9th Edition, these are your first Elfdar Titan you can use without having your opponent bash your head in. After languishing for over two years as a ludicrously overcosted resin statue, the Revenant Titan is... still overcosted. Of the two major Conclave titans, the Revenant is the only one that you may potentially take into a standard game. At 1500pts, you won't have much room for an accompanying army so you'll need to keep all accompanying units as cheap as possible if you want any board presence. In terms of durability, don't let its frilly little appearance fool you, the Revenant is nearly unrivalled; 32W at T9 with a 3+/4++ save makes all but the heaviest firepower a trivial matter. Offensively, Revenants are reasonably flexible at engaging infantry, monsters, vehicles and even other Titans. However, consider how many Fire Dragons, Dark Reapers, Wave Serpents, Fire Prisms and even Wraithknights you can bring to the table for the 1500pts this one model costs. If you want to be fluff friendly, go ahead and get another one on. But by this point, the point-cost fallacy would start to sink in and you are better off playing this set up in Apocalypse.
