This article related to Warhammer 40,000 is a stub. You can help 1d4chan by expanding it

The Horus Heresy is one of the biggest events in the Warhammer 40,000 story. Naturally, people like dreaming up alternate scenarios. Page still being expanded.

The Dornian Heresy

Premise
What events would cause the presently-loyal Space Marine Legions to have fallen to Chaos, and kept the present Chaos Space Marines loyal to the Imperium?

Thus, you get Berserker Marines; Bloodthirsty Marines; Speedy Marines; Mutant Marines; Grumpy Marines; Progress Marines; Necron Marines; Chaotic Marines; and Fallen Marines. On the other side you have Zealot Marines; Armoured Marines; Crusader Marines; Perfect Marines; Blind Marines; Inquisitiorial Marines; Serious Marines; Scary Marines; and Sneaky Marines. It's awesome.

The Imperial Heresy

Premise
The God-Emperor of Mankind decided "if you can't beat 'em, join 'em" and sided with the Gods of Chaos.

The Eldar Gambit

Premise
The day before the final assault on the Vengeful Spirit, the God-Emperor of Mankind gets visited by Eldrad, who offers some assistance in dealing with Horus, in exchange for closer Eldar-Human cooperation later.
