Heroscape is a tabletop skirmish game. Due to its low price, low complexity and pre-made models, it is ideal as "baby's first war game". The games terrain is made out of hexagons that interlock that can be built together to make really awesome things The models are from all manner of different settings, and include Vikings, dragons, robots and elves.

Brief description of the plot

Basically once upon a time in the future of Valhalla, a bad angel called Utgar wanted to use some springs to kill everything. Jandar, another angel gathers a big group of buddies to rape him. They go about this by summoning "mighty" warriors to punch each other

Factions

Jandar

Lawful good (although oddly likes Vikings). A mary sue and Your main source of cheese. Uses:

•Vikings, mostly stabby guys who get two guys that buff them in the starter box

•WW2 soldiers, whose sergeant is somehow so fast he can't be shot

•Buffy Valkyries

Utgar

Neutral evil. Uses almost everything, especially:

•Marro, weird sludgy things that can regrow and Zerg rush. Have an expansion dedicated to them

•Dragons, flying big things. Normally crap.

•Orks. Sadly no WAAAAAAAAGHing and kinda meh. Are also good at zerging and allow for movement of heros and squads simultaneously

•Almost anything that could be considered evil that isn't Valkrill. Including the heroscape equivalent of a 10 point independent character

Vydar

Probably true neutral. A mercenary and a dick. Likes backstabbing everyone except for some reason considered good. Uses mostly spies and stealth units

Ullar

Chaotic Good. A bit like Radagast from lord of the rings. Likes elves, wild things. Uses elves and The most op dragon EVAR

Einar

Punchy. Uses dickish samurai, zerging Romans and some kind of hunting god. Faps over swords

Valkrill

Chaotic neutral (or maybe evil). Only has 4 units
