System

The third edition of Dungeons & Dragons, the most awesomest edition ever.

Basics

Nearly every roll consists of making a single D20 roll, plus a modifier, against a target number.

Character Generation

Comprehensive character generation system that allows high levels of customization.

Gameplay

Not 4E gameplay, which makes it awesome. (Except when you use the Book of Weeaboo Fightan Magic, in which case you're essentially playing 4E, just with less weeabooism.)

Criticism

Some of the criticisms of third edition D&D include:

  • Not enough anime powers and weeaboo artwork.
  • Katanas are seen as underpowered by fags, and overpowered by heterosexuals, who feel it doesn't deserve its masterwork quality and instead feel it should recieve -4 Str.
  • Women don't recieve -4 Str, destroying any sense of verisimilitude players may have otherwise felt.
  • People who enjoy being fucked in the ass prefer 4E.
