The Dune Walkers are another product of fat/tg/uys playing around with the Chapter Creation tables from Rites of Battle. After a lot of dice rolling, the results came in; an Arabian Nights-inspired Dark Angels successor chapter that, due to a flawed gene-seed, hallucinates in times of extreme stress. Battle-Brothers seeking answers often journey into the desert and do not return until they have triggered the stress response and seen a sign of the Emperor in the sand. Hence the name Dune Walker. Each Marine undergoes assassin training as a Scout and befriends a giant Roc native to their homeworld.
