Mist Dragons are solitary and philosophical creatures from D&D. Their breath weapon is a cloud of scalding vapor that then condenses into a blinding, suffocating fog. They can assume a gaseous, mistlike form at any time. At birth their scales are a shiny blue-white, later turning blue-gray with sparkling flecks of silver. Though they can eat almost anything, they prefer to draw sustenance directly from mist in the air. They live in areas with heavy rainfall, near waterfalls rapids or coastlines. Their lairs are large natural caverns or grottoes filed with mist. They dislike conversation and prefer to sit alone, quietly pondering.
