Tzeentchian Scourges. Lord o-mighty...

Tzaangor Skyfires are a type of Tzaangor that acts more like an aerial Tzeentchian Dark Eldar Scourges.

Overview

Atop weird Discs of Tzeentch the Tzaangor Skyfires soar across the battlefield into positions where they can rain death upon the foe. Able to catch glimpses of the future, the Skyfires send their Arrows of Fate on what appear to be baffling trajectories to an observer – but the missiles instead strike their targets’ most vulnerable weak spots with confounding accuracy. All of them carry Fatecaster Greatbows.

Crunch

Rules-wise, Tzaangor Skyfires curiuosly, only appear in Age of Sigmar rather than 40k. This is despite having fluff indicating they are in 40k as further confirmed by Lexicanum which has a page on them.

So for the sake of rules, here are the ones from Age of Sigmar.

Skyfires are ranged Elite Tzaangors. These fellows are the unholy cross between a Tzaangor Enlightened, a Kurnoth Hunter and a Warplock Jezzail (guess who did what, I don't wanna imagine that scene). In addition to having serviceable melee stats, Skyfires have the obscene 16" Movement of the Enlightened, the 24" range of the Kurnoth Hunters and unmodified 6 To Hit rolls that immediately deal d3 Mortal Wounds instead (incredible for sniping characters with a good destiny dice pool). This is even stronger considering that close proximity to a Tzaangor Shaman grants them +1 To Hit, and the leader already has an additional +1, making still be dangerous even if 6s are not rolled.
