Azzagrat is one of the 666 known layers of the Abyss in both the Great Wheel and the World Axis cosmologies for Dungeons & Dragons. Referred to as the 47th layer, it's actually three formerly separate layers all welded into one, linked by an unholy city-state (Zelatar) that can be accessed from (and exited to) all three of the individual layers. This is the realm of the Demon Prince [Graz'zt]], generally the most level-headed and forward thinking of the Abyss's many rulers, and as such Azzagrat has become a strange hub for interplanar mercantile trade, especially in darker shit like drugs, slavery and anything relating to black magic.
