The Night Spinner is a silent hunter that casts an almost invisible monofilament mesh onto the foe - the ultra-strong threads of this web shear through flesh and armour alike as they descend from the skies upon their victims.

The Imperial Guard get an almost literal version of the penis extension gun as well as an motherfucking ICBM. The Space Marines get just like, ALL of the missile rape. Even the Sisters of Battle get a fucking pipe organ that rains death while playing a dirge for the enemy.

The Eldar get nets.

I wish I was fucking joking.

The Night Spinner is the Eldar indirect fire ordnance vehicle. It's based on the Falcon chassis and mounts two bigger versions of the monofilament guns used by Warp Spiders called a Doom Weaver. They are rarely seen on the tabletop due to the fact that they have never received an offical model or rules. If you want either you have to pay Forge World's prices. Here's the thing though: Warp Spider, uh, warp in close to their targets and fire the nets produced by their weapons directly at the enemy so they get wrapped up in it. Kinda like a net launcher. Where as the Night Spinner fires it's net high into the air. That bears repeating. It fires a incredibly thin, delicate and above all light net far into the air. This things biggest enemy is a stiff fucking breeze. To add insult to injury the Doom Weaver net, while decently strong (s6 from memory) does not possess an AP score. While it was decently useful when it was released in 3rd edition due to Eldar not possessing any large blast weapons to help cut down hordes, the fact that the Fire Prism can now switch firing modes means that there is no reason to use this at all.
