We had encountered the creatures when on the trail of Sulemain, the leader of the heretic scum that ambushed us on our arrival to Mordheim, in the process brutally slaying my protege, Jacob Schnell, after he held off three of their vile kind for several minutes, only falling once he had kept them occupied long enough for Papa Francis and his followers to arrive, smiting one of their number in return.
