Durulz, commonly nicknamed Ducks both in-universe and out, are a race of flightless humanoid ducks who inhabit the world of Glorantha. Whilst shorter than humans, and often mocked as comical by the human races, they are actually quite fierce warriors, many of whom worship the God of Death, Humakt. Basically, think of them as an attempt to convert Disney's Donald Duck and his avian race, especially from the old Disney comics, to a fantasy race. Fans tend to either hate them for their silliness, or love them either because of that silliness or because of their tragicomic lore, which centers on how they have been unfairly pushed around and mocked by literally everyone else for centuries.

The Durulz are related to another avian beastfolk race called the Keets, who have the features of various flying birds and are characterized as a bunch of arrogant shitheads. Like, when the demon Zmalak shattered the continent of Vithela, he literally stopped midway through his final apocalyptic ritual to call out the Keets as a bunch of idiots who could have stopped him from reaching this goal if they hadn't been so focused on picking a fight with everyone, including each other.
