Badruk 'Eadsplitta is a Black Orc Warboss from the old days of Warhammer Fantasy Battles who haunts the Grey Mountains. Now, this wasn't his original stomping grounds - he actually used to hang around the World's Edge Mountains, until one day he and his old tribe were beating up some Imperial troops when a backfiring spell from a dying wizard whisked Badruk away to the Grey Mountains. He was a little confused at first, but once he found out that the Grey Mountains were home to the Dwarfs of KArak Norn, he was in heaven.

See, Badruk loves dwarfs - in an orcy sort of way! As far as Badruk is concerned, there ain't no enemy worth fighting so much as dwarfs; they're tough, they're scrappy, and they don't like to run away (and don't get far if they try). They are Skumgrod' - "Favorite Enemies".

Badruk's new tribe isn't the biggest, but he's having way too much fun fighting the dwarfs of Karak Norn to care. THe dwarfs have come to view Badruk as simply one of those annoying little things you have to deal with when living in the Grey Mountains, like rockslides and the weather. It helps that Badruk likes fighting dwarfs so much that any he captures are just released and sent right back home to get healed up; it's boring to kill 'em when they can't fight back, and it's way more fun to fight them.

Mechanics[edit]

Mechanically, Badruk is a Black Orc Big Boss (so he uses 2 Hero Slots in 6e) with Movement 4, Weapon Skill 6, Ballistic Skill 3, Strength 5, Toughness 5, Wounds 2, Initiative 3, Attacks 3 and Leadership 8.

He costs 150 points, wields a Great Axe, wears Heavy Armor, and carries the Dwarf Trinket (Magic Item; once per battle, Badruk can make all close combat attacks from a single chosen model (plus that model's mount, if any) miss him; this can be invoked after the enemy has rolled to hit, but not after they have rolled to wound, and only aeffects attacks based on their profile, not other special attacks). He has the special rules Ignore Greenskin Panic, Quell Animosity, and Killing Blow (6+, Man-sized or smaller).
