Selma[edit]
Warning: the following could be offensive to some viewers.
Alright, where to begin...hmmmm...oh how 'bout the fact that Birmingham got nuked to shit. Thank God it was one of the last cities to be nuked or else we would be dead. We got a hour and a half head start and we fled in every direction, but most of us went to Tuscaloosa or Selma. They seemed the safest of the cities left, Mobile had already been nuked and they approximated less than half an hour before Montgomery fell to the same fate. Tuscaloosa made it out...barely. It was meant to be hit but the missile missed and hit Jackson, Mississippi. Here in Selma we are felling slight fallout from Montgomery and Mobile, but most of it has missed us.
It's been two years now and the National Guard hasn't touched the border since the Exchange. We have full contact with Tuscaloosa and we trade heavily. The valley is great for agriculture and Tuscaloosa had a lot good places for industry and lumber. The hills to the north help protect against Birmingham's fallout and provides a good place to build the STBS(Selma and Tuscaloosa Bunker System). Not many raiders come from Montgomery or Mobile, because of that I can only assume no one is there or, they don't want to bother us.
TWO MONTHS LATER
Alright so this convoy came from the east saying that we better join the Georgia Confederacy or else. Our leader John Raine talked with Tuscaloosa's president, Ivory Taylor and they agreed to join. Now we are part of a huge trade route and I will be part of the rebuilding effort on Birmingham, so this will be my last broadcast. If anyone can hear this then join the Georgia Confederacy, it truly is the best option the New Pentagon and Pegasus don't truly care about you.
